_Position design as a tool for change to face the challenges of today's society, promoting the development of innovative projects through the areas of research, project development and professional services, contact and social development and FabLab.

_Promote parliamentary studies based on the preparation of leaders deeply motivated by the need for dialogue, debate, consensus building and the foundation of better destinations for the region and the country.

_ Lead the San Pedro Regional History and Hacienda Information Center "Celso Garza Guajardo"
• Generate academic production: books, journals, brochures, newspapers and other materials.
• Develop partnership programs with society.
• Establish agreements with public and private institutions. Establish synergy with the municipalities of the Valle de las Salinas.
• Create and maintain continuing education programs through a range of activities such as diplomas, workshops, seminars, congresses and conference cycles.
• Invent, catalog, classify and digitize the CIHR bibliographic collection.
• Promote and spread culture, especially regional culture

_Promote the learning and certification of foreign languages by offering courses to university students and the wider community and promoting events and activities for greater rapprochement with the languages and cultures of the world.
